Very helpful!

Absolutely worth the money. Will be a great support for every academic.

I Love It!

Gatsbys Light comes through again. These notes are a great aid both to students and teachers. Bravo!

Excellent App

I find this app very informative and well organized. The advices and lessons given there are not only good for essays but writing in general including blogging (in my case). I just wish it had much better interface and felt more native to iOS platform.

Get this info for free - dont buy

Not worth the price when there is so much of this same exact info for free. Check any college OWL guide for specifics.

5 stars!!!

Absolutely amazing! What an articulate guide for students and others who may need help in writing an essay! Will definitely use for my sons who will be writing many papers!!

The creator needs a proofreader.

I like the concept, but wish I hadnt spent the money on an app written by someone who doesnt know the difference between to and too but is too lazy to double-check. Homonym fail.

DO NOT WAST YOUR MONEY

Wast of money. Stupid info you can google all of this. Not worth 3$

Awesome app

I just recently went back to college and this app is perfect for helping me to study for the test. Thank you so much for this.

Waste of money

This app doesnt have anything worth a penny. All it does is give you definitions. Download a dictionary, its better!

Looking at the content wheel alone was able to help me come up with ideas and revisions my papers needed to start turning my Cs to As

Superb Learning Supplement

Awesome help

Two thumbs up Very clear info

Great grammar refresher

A Great Grammar Refresher App!

Educator

Too advanced for high school. Perhaps a good resource for reflection of what we instruct?

Disappointed

I was so excited to download this app, but I regretted it afterwards. It seems much like a copy-paste text from some website. There are some mistakes inside too. It is far too expensive for what is offers. I dont recommend it. Im sorry, but Im so disappointed.

Valuable for teachers & students!

This app has helped me explain writing to my students in a clear and concise manner. Both teachers and students will benefit from its rich features. Nice work!

Of little help

A waste of money and time. It is difficult to navigate and provides no new information. It is similar to a dictionary of essay terms. Very disappointing!

Insightful

For some one looking for a clear and helpful way to get started or brush up. This app is truly a blessing.

A good reference, but a poor guide.

“Essay Writing Guide,” is developed by the same group who published the app “Lit Analysis 2.” The app’s purpose would seem to be a writing guide for how to create an essay, but it ultimately performs as a reference guide for essay writing terms. Like the literature analysis app, this app contains definitions and examples for the many terms and elements of writing an essay. The few changes in format include “Do”s and “Do not”s for each term, instead of the “Questions to ask” of the previous app, which are generally basic bullet point lists of advice for the user in regards how to best use or excel at the term. The content of the app is generally good in quality, and comprehensive in the quantity of material it covers, but it acts as a simple reference guide, when the title would seems to suggest that it will guide a writer through the steps of writing an essay, which it does not adequately address. The design and layout of the content is presented identically to the way the material of “Lit Analysis 2” is presented, but where the circular wheel layout of that app works well for the sort of content it provides, it doesn’t work as well for this app. Any user would be forgiven their assumption that the app would be structured to guide them through the process of writing an essay. While this would be an annoyance in a free app, it becomes much worse when you consider that this app must be purchased at the time of this writing. This app suffers from the same dull and lifeless graphical presentation of “Lit Analysis 2,” made worse by the fact that it would appear to be a rather lazy recreation of that style with little concern to its effectiveness for the material. Despite all of that, I could easily see this app being used by a writer who already knows the basics of essay writing to improve his skills, or by a teacher who merely wants a concentrated reference tool for essay writing terms. It could be seen as just a few steps above a dictionary, but the quality of the advice and the examples can make a few bucks worth it. I give this app three and a half stars.

Good job

Thank you so much for the updates.
